How to use Polyester Woven Lashing

Step 1: Prepare the Load

Ensure the cargo is properly positioned and stable on the pallet, flat rack, or inside the container. Use edge protectors on sharp corners or contact points to prevent strap damage.

Step 2: Position the Lashing Strap
Wrap the polyester woven lashing strap around the cargo according to the required securing pattern (straight, cross, or loop), ensuring even load distribution.

Step 3: Insert the Buckle or Ratchet
Feed the strap through the steel buckle or ratchet, following the correct threading direction to ensure proper grip and tension.

Step 4: Apply Tension
Tighten the strap manually or with a ratchet/tensioning tool until the cargo is firmly secured. Avoid over-tensioning to protect both the strap and the load.

Step 6: Monitor During Transit (If Required)
For long-distance or project cargo shipments, lashings can be re-tensioned during inspection stops to maintain load stability.
